
Protein Pizza Crust
Makes 1 pizza
Ingredients
- 1 cup water warm
- 2 1⁄2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup flour all-purpose
- 1⁄4 cup flour whole wheat
- 1⁄4 cup unsweetened base blend Goode Health protein powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- Toppings of choice
Directions
- Add 1 cup of warm water to a glass measuring cup.
- Sprinkle the yeast over the top of the water and let it sit 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, stir together the flours, Goode Health protein powder, and salt.
- Pour the yeast water and olive oil into the bowl and mix until dough ball forms.
- Knead the dough on a well floured surface for a couple minutes.
- Then place back in the bowl, cover, and allow to rise in a warm spot for 1 hour.
- Roll the dough out and place on a pizza pan.
- Bake at 400°F for 4-5 minutes. Then top with sauce and other toppings.
- Bake another 8-10 minutes.
